This is a room for not working alone.
SP8A Akasaka (SP8A is said “space”) is one room. We chose not to put up partitions,
because we believe people meeting naturally opens up new creative possibilities.
When you get stuck, look up and someone is there.
A quick question turns into an idea,
people bring what they are good at and a new team forms.
Sometimes that leads to new work and new projects.
Heads-down days, at a desk.
Meeting days, or days you need to spread out, at the big table.
Days for thinking and taking things in, on the sofa.
Within one room,
you move freely to whatever spot suits the day's work.
People connect naturally,
new creative work takes shape,
and new work begins.
That is the office SP8A sets out to be.
